Don't study what you already know. RPL is a formal process which awards credit for knowledge and skills, or competencies acquired through previous study, training, employment, or life experience. It can save you time and money to get qualified if you already have certain experience and skills.
This qualification reflects the role of real estate professionals who apply knowledge of real estate practice
legal agency and compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to conduct real estate functions.
This qualification applies to people working in both residential and commercial property, including business
broking, and stock and station transactions.
This qualification also provides underpinning skills and knowledge to help support their colleagues within the
real estate sector being eithers property managers or sales.
Those that hold the CPP41419 - Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice are seen to play a vital role in:
- analysing data, industry intelligence and leads to identify prospects
- developing, building and maintaining relationships with lessors, tenants, vendors and buyers
- providing advice to lessors, tenants, vendors and buyers on the sale, purchase or lease of commercial,
residential, stock and station, and property real estate
- implementing systems, forms and documents to ensure real estate agency transactions are compliant with
regulatory requirements; managing risk to agency and agent, and demonstrating high standards of ethical
practice
- transacting, accessing, and preserving the integrity of trust accounts to minimise customer and agency risk
- establishing, maintaining, executing and concluding contracts with lessors, tenants, vendors and buyers,
including by auction
- building and promoting the agency and individual brands
As part of this course, REINSW offers the five (5) units required to register with Fair Trading NSW a Certificate
of Registration.
On completion of this course, Learners can apply for a Class Two Real Estate Agent with Fair Trading NSW.

Enrol into the RPL Course to access the RPL Kit and submit your application for RPL assessment |
Step Two |
Read about RPL and understand what is involved. This is important to ensure that you are aware of
the requirements of RPL.

Step Three |
Gather your evidence as listed within the table under step two step two of the kit. It is important that you build your
evidence portfolio and understand the evidence you can provide. Complete the document register.

Step Four |
Select the units of competency/s you would like to seek RPL for. This is important to ensure that we
guide you in the evidence you will require. Complete the initial RPL talk with one of our dedicated
trainer and assessors that we talk through the RPL process and guide you on evidence that is
required

Step Five |
Complete the unit of competency table outlining the frequency you complete each task listed against
each unit of competency and list the evidence that supports your claim against the unit of
competency.

Step Six |
Complete the remainder of the RPL kit by providing references, jobs that you have held and sign the
declaration at the back of the RPL kit
|
Step Seven |
Submit your application online through the REINSW Learning environment. One of our trainers and assessors will assess your application and contact you where additional evidence or a gap assessment may be required. |

Learners that have completed units of competency through another RTO can apply for Credit transfer during the
