Course Overview:
This qualification reflects the role of property services principals who apply knowledge of property agency and
compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to establish and control property services
functions.
This qualification applies to residential or commercial practice in real estate sales, real estate property
management, strata management, business broking, stock and station, or auctioneering. Depending on units
selected in the qualification, one of two occupational options may be awarded:
- Diploma of Property (Agency Management)
Those that hold the CPP51122 - Diploma in Property - Agency Management are seen to play a vital role in:
- Understanding business systems, structures, property agency practices and business entities
- understanding legal and ethical frameworks for property agency operations
- developing systems, procedures and protocols for managing property agency functions
- establishing and controlling trust accounts and property agency business finances
- coordinating ethics, risk and consumer protection systems to meet industry legal and customer expectations
and requirements
- developing and maintaining knowledge of industry trends
- developing and maintaining relationships with lessors, tenants, vendors and buyers, buyers’ agents,
owners and owners’ agents
- establishing and implementing strategic business plans and operational plans
- establishing and implementing agency and individual branding
- leading and managing people, including recruitment, induction, coaching and mentoring for teams and
individuals
- managing work health and safety (WHS) risk to ensure a safe working environment in the property services
industry.
On completion of this course, Learners can apply for a Class One Real Estate Agent with Fair Trading NSW

Step One |
Read about RPL and understand what is involved. This is important to ensure that you are aware of
the requirements of RPL.

Step Two |
Gather your evidence as listed within the table under step two. It is important that you build your
evidence portfolio and understand the evidence you can provide. Complete the document register.

Step Three |
Select the units of competency/s you would like to seek RPL for. This is important to ensure that we
guide you in the evidence you will require. Complete the initial RPL talk with one of our dedicated
trainer and assessors that we talk through the RPL process and guide you on evidence that is
required
|
Step Four |
Complete the unit of competency table outlining the frequency you complete each task listed against
each unit of competency and list the evidence that supports your claim against the unit of
competency.

Step Five |
Complete the remainder of the RPL kit by providing references, jobs that you have held and sign the
declaration at the back of the RPL kit
|
Step Six |
Submit your application online through the REINSW Learning environment. One of our trainers and
assessors will assess your application and contact you where additional evidence or a gap assessment
may be required.

CPP51122 - Diploma in Property - Agency Management is eligible for Credit Transfer.
Learners that have completed units of competency through another RTO can apply for Credit transfer during the
enrolment process with REINSW. To apply for Credit Transfer, a Learner will need to complete the credit transfer
form that can be found by clicking the link below.
